The Dholak and Dholaki are used for Live Indian Wedding Music Events by Freedom and Leela.
The Dholak or dholki is a North Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese double-headed hand-drum used for singing and dancing, especially Bhangra for pre-wedding festivities. It is often used in Indian songs and Films, Sangeets, Hindi Movie Songs, and Punjabi Wedding Songs. The deep rich sound of this drum sets a great hypnotic groove for dancing, singing and chanting.
The dholak or dholaki is commonly found at Ladies Sangeet Song parties and is used for East Indian Wedding music and Wedding Music Events. Freedom and Leela often use dholak accompaniment for their live Indian Punjabi Music events.
