Freedom and Leela are passionate about Ghazals and have had the privelege to share musical moments with the maestro Jagjit Singh, Ghazal singer. Ghazals can also be referred to as Gazals, Hindi Ghazals or Urdu Ghazals, depending on the language they are sung in, Urdu or Hindi. A Ghazal is a song that may be with a poetic expression of both the pain of loss, or the separation and beauty of love in spite of that pain. When set to an emotional melody and soothing rhythm, the Ghazal creates an emotional connection for the listener to the Divine.
